Excerpts From My Sketchbook

February 5, 2013

In the last year, the way in which I use my sketchbook has evolved dramatically from the “sketchbooks” I used and loved in grade school. I used to do full colour drawings in pencil crayon of horses, dogs, tigers or whatever took my fancy. During my university career my sketchbook has changed quite a bit and includes far fewer drawings and a pages and pages of notes. This is because in the last few years my art has changed drastically as well. I am starting to develop a concept to go behind my art in order to create a unifying theme and message. Here are a few pages from my sketchbook including notes, inspiration and some drawings.
